CLTS Foundation Global entered into a partnership with African Union Commission with the objective of mobilising efforts of different sanitation partners to take CLTS to scale in Africa. This strategic partnership will work towards enhancing the political will and commitment from the African leadership towards achieving the sanitation targets set out in the African Water Vision 2025. The meeting was chaired by H.E Mrs. Tumusiime Rhoda Peace, Commissioner for the Department of Rural Economy and Agriculture, AUC, who stated that strategic ways of sanitation management is on top of the African leadership agenda. The meeting was also attended by representatives from WaterAid, Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and Sanitation and Water for All.
